And two cabin filters, one for the 3 and one for the CX-5. Both were cheaper than any parts store locally, even with my discount. Meh. Its been a year so its probably time to change them.

Amazon prime is the mark of the beast... Pretty sure.

What ever, hell is worth it to have practically anything I want within a day.

Gotten plenty of parts for the S6 off there.

I get all my parts from amazon.

Also, as a story of good customer service. I bought a fuel pump off there for my gf’s Jetta. I cheaped out and didn’t get the Bosch OE. This was a mistake since the cheapy pump I bought had intermittent issues. So a year later, Amazon still took it back on a return. I’m stoked!

In all the parts I’ve ordered (probably more than 20) only one time has it been the wrong part, and that was pretty early on, and the return process is fairly painless.

Oh oh oh, and also, I just ordered an O2 sensor for my old Protege. On amazon, the “no soldering needed” connector attached type (from Bosch no less) was 40 bucks shipped to my door. For shits and giggles I checked O’Rielly and Autozone... $110 for Denso!!! GTFO. How? How in the hell can you charge at least over 100% mark up for aftermarket parts? When Amazon sells OE stuff for half!?

Too many middle men. Amazon can purchase them in bigger quantities right from the manufacturer and doesn’t have to pay for boxing, labelling, shipping, storage, delivery, and having shitty employees that work at the parts store counter 7 days a week until 9pm.

That’s what you’re paying double for: Overhead.

Yeah, I mean, I get that. But other companies can sell things with like a 10 or 20 percent profit margin. And Autozone and O’Riellys are big companies. They can order in quantity too. Also, for the most part, they stock a lot of the stuff in warehouses that get shipped to the local stores anyway. All I’m saying, is there is no way Autozone did an extra SIXTY DOLLARS worth of work to hand me that sensor. Somethings fucky.
